Jill believes that good design can fundamentally change the way one lives and behaves. When done with patience and rigor, good design describes not just a project’s aesthetics, but the way the project is planned and built – from initial programming considerations to wall assembly detailing. Capitalizing on each project's unique attributes and peculiarities, Jill’s designs strive to elevate common elements and spaces to create inspired, dignified solutions.
A LEED Accredited Professional and Passive House Consultant, Jill is committed to developing designs that minimize our impact on the environment. To this end, Jill seeks to collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors to find solutions appropriate for each project's context and budget.
Jill received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and her Master of Architecture degree with distinction from Harvard University. Prior to establishing her own practice, Jill worked for offices in Boston, Seattle and New York on projects ranging from residences, academic buildings, to urban planning projects. Jill lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
